When registering for the practical exam in the categories A, A1, B, B1, C or C1 you will have to prove that you have attended the traffic theory course of 8 hours with a driving instructor. The course has to have been done in the last 2 years. You do not have to attend the course only if you are already in possession of a driver’s license in one of these categories.
The course on traffic theory, should encourage a defensive and responsible driving through traffic education and teaching of a sense for danger. The applicant which are required to participate in a traffic theory course can only attend the course once they are in possession of the learner's permit.
